HelixCast ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered content repurposing service that transforms your source content into platform-adapted posts. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

- Account data: Email address, name, and password (stored as a secure hash) when you register.
- User content: Source content you upload or paste, project titles, platform selections, generated outputs, brand voice settings, and any instructions you provide for AI generation.
- Payment data: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details; we receive and store billing-related identifiers (e.g., Stripe customer ID, subscription status) necessary to manage your subscription.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Session data: Authentication session tokens to keep you logged in.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and approximate location when you access the Service.
- Usage data: Logs of API requests, errors, and system events for security and troubleshooting. We minimize personal information in logs.
1.3 Information from Third-Party Services
- OpenAI: Your source content and generation prompts are sent to OpenAI's API (GPT, Whisper) to produce repurposed content and transcribe audio. OpenAI processes this data according to their Privacy Policy.
- Stripe: Payment and subscription data are processed by Stripe. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Resend: Transactional emails (e.g., verification, password reset) are sent via Resend. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
- Sentry (optional): If enabled, error reports may include technical data to help us fix issues. We avoid including personal or sensitive content in error payloads.

- Send transactional emails (verification, password reset, billing)

- Deletion: You can request account deletion by contacting us. We will delete your data subject to legal retention requirements.
- Opt-out of marketing: We do not send marketing emails without your consent. Transactional emails (e.g., verification, billing) cannot be opted out.
